1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Why would you worry about things that are out of your control?†Stress, mental illness and substance abuse are all health outcomes linked to childhood trauma. When I was 18 years old, reality hit me that I was exhibiting the symptoms caused by my Adverse Childhood Experiences. Thankfully, I was surrounded by loving support that helped me see that I am in control of my behaviors.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Whether I am planning an event for small business promotion, inspiring children in a classroom, training employees, or coaching and mentoring young adults, I always serve with the intention to create a better tomorrow. Building a better future for children across the World is my calling.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Learning how to identify the needs of others through body language, communication and experiences and taking that information with you to predict how to serve them in a way that makes their experience more positive is a priceless skill.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
I read once to “live your life and forget your age.†When I am out with my best friends from college, I am 18. When I am playing outside with my girls, I am 12. When I am running my business, I am 37, and when I am out with my husband, I am 26.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
Lance and I live our best lives on the Illinois River. We met on the river. We married on the river, and we play on the river. Kayaking on a 90 degree summer day with a group of friends and finishing the trip with some campfire dinner, live music and riverside camping is my idea of a perfect date.
